Thank you for visiting. Likewise I am happy that the Spirit of the Lord is awakening His Bride and touching hearts everywhere.

I have been in your shoes. I was also brought to the awareness that things were not right with the “institutional” church, and tried to talk to my pastor, which ultimately resulted in an open letter to the congregation, resulting in my departure from that “church.” The general attitude is that the way of life of the early Church, as built by Jesus, is unsustainable. I was told that that was the way they did Church then, that Pentecost found many away from home and that it was necessary that they go from house to house to accommodate the needs of those traveling. This may be true to some extent, but this was set as the precedent and example of all future Body activity. This was not a one time occurrence, it was the Body of Christ, alive, breathing, caring, effecting each other, a hundred mothers, brothers, and sisters, all connected, birthed into a foreign land, walking a different way, speaking a different language, disturbing the status quo, and glorying in trials and tribulations, living out the Good News. That Body is alive today, small, fragile, humble, separated, and listening for a word from the Master.

The Church is alive, but it is not what we imagined or see displayed on every corner. Jesus will lead you to His Body, He promised, trust Him “If anyone’s will is to do God’s will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own authority.” (John 7:17)
